  7. █  Change color of object
  8.  
  9.     If a color graphics adapter is
  10. connected to your computer system, you can
  11. change the color of an object to one of
  12. the sixteen colors in the Color Palette.
  13. The step by step procedure is as follows:

  15.   · Select the object you want to change.
  16.  
  17.   · Click the color button with the
  18.     desired color.

  21. █  Change symbol type of object
  22.  
  23.     You can change the symbol type of a
  24. selected object by clicking on the desired
  25. symbol tool from the Tool box. For example,
  26. suppose the current selected object is a
  27. open circle, but you would like to change
  28. it to a solid square.  Just click on the
  29. solid square button on the Toolbox and the
  30. object will be changed to solid square.

  33. █  Auto Redraw and Auto Pick options
  34.  
  35.     By default, TechPlot sets both
  36. AutoRedraw and AutoPick on.  These two menu
  37. items are located under the Option Menu in
  38. Plot View.
  39.  
  40.     If the AutoRedraw mode is on, the plot
  41. screen will redraw after each plot editing
  42. action such as moving an object, changing
  43. color, etc.  You can turn it off by
  44. choosing the Option | AutoRedraw menu
  45. command.  To turn it back on, just choose
  46. it again.

  48.     If the AutoPick option is on, TechPlot
  49. will set the editing tool to Pick Tool
  50. after each plot editing action.  For
  51. example, if you want to add a square
  52. object to a graph, you select the Square
  53. tool and move your mouse to a position and
  54. add it.  If AutoPick is on, after this
  55. action, the editing tool is set back to
  56. the Pick tool;
  57. otherwise, it will stay at the Square tool.
  58. The command to turn the AutoPick on and off
  59. is the same as changing the AutoRedraw
  60. option.

  63. █  Redraw the Plot View screen
  64.  
  65.     If the AutoRedraw option is on, after
  66. each editing action the screen is redrawn.
  67. But when this option is turned off, how can
  68. you redraw the screen?  Use the ReDraw
  69. command which is located under the View
  70. Menu.  This command lets you redraw the
  71. screen immediately.  The keyboard
  72. shortcut for this command is <F7>.
